About

Josh Everett is a Leeds, Alabama native who started writing to mimic his favorite rappers. When that dream died, he moved to poetry, cultural commentary, personal essay, and short fiction. His writing spans a wide breadth of topics including love and sex, masculinity, racism, and awkwardly stumbling through young adulthood. His work can be found in Blavity, Rigorous, Storgy, Up the Staircase Quarterly, DASH, Transition, All the Sins, Public Goods, Iris Dating, and various Medium publications.
